Job Summary (PEB EXPERIENCE ONLY)
The Regional Sales Manager (Gujarat Region) will be responsible for driving sales growth, maximizing market penetration, and expanding the footprint of the company's Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) solutions in the Gujarat region. This strategic role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively develop and execute sales plans, build lasting customer relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Sales Growth
• Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies tailored to the Gujarat region to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large-scale projects and key accounts.
• Establish strong networks with decision-makers in target industries such as warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and real estate.
• Actively track market developments, emerging trends, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Market Development
• Expand market share by creating brand visibility and increasing adoption of PEB solutions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute impactful campaigns that resonate with the regional audience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and project owners to influence specifications and ensure PEB adoption.
Client Relationship Management
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through consistent engagement with current and potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with a win-win approach, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Act as the face of the company for high-value clients, providing personalized service to build long-term relationships.
Team Leadership and Development
• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Sales Executives/Engineers to build a motivated and results-driven sales force.
• Set clear performance targets for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the sales team.
Coordination and Execution
• Work closely with internal departments such as design, production, and project management to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and on time.
• Provide accurate forecasts and sales reports to senior management, including pipeline analysis and revenue projections.
Budget and Resource Management
• Optimize the use of resources to maximize returns while adhering to sales budgets.
• Allocate sales efforts strategically across the Gujarat region to achieve the highest impact.
Key Skills and Competencies
• Proven expertise in driving sales growth and managing high-value accounts, preferably in the PEB, construction, or manufacturing industry.
• Deep understanding of the Gujarat market, including customer behavior and key industry segments.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics, and MS Office Suite.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of driving regional sales growth.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role managing teams and large territories.
• Familiarity with the PEB industry or related fields such as steel structures, construction, or real estate is an advantage.
• Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, and English is preferred.
