Job Description


Hi All,We are haivng urgent opning with one of our FMCG client @Delhi.Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for modern trade in line with organizational goals.
  • Plan and monitor the sales budget and ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the region and create actionable plans to capitalize on them.
2. Key Account Management
  • Manage relationships with modern trade accounts such as large format retail stores, supermarkets, and hypermarkets.
  • Negotiate terms of trade agreements, pricing, and promotions with key accounts.
  • Regularly review account performance and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
3. Sales Operations
  • Monitor and achieve sales, distribution, and growth targets for modern trade in the region.
  • Ensure efficient stock management, order fulfillment, and payment collections.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends, providing insights and recommendations.
4. Team Management
  • Lead and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Promoters.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve productivity.
  • Organize training sessions to build product knowledge and enhance sales capabilities.
5. Brand Visibility & Promotion
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute in-store promotions and merchandising activities.
  • Ensure consistent brand visibility and adherence to merchandising standards across all outlets.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of trade promotions and provide feedback for optimization.
Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
Experience
  • Proven track record in modern trade sales within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong experience in key account management and team leadership.
Key Competencies
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Proficient in MS Office and sales management tools.
