Operation of Purified Water Systems: Operate and monitor the purified water systems, including reverse osmosis (RO) units, water softeners, deionization units, ultraviolet (UV) sterilizers, and distribution systems. Ensure the continuous supply of high-quality purified water to meet the production requirements of the pharmaceutical facility.
Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the purified water systems, such as filter replacements, membrane cleaning, and calibration of instruments. Follow maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of the equipment.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot operational issues or malfunctions in the purified water systems. Work closely with the maintenance team to resolve equipment failures and restore normal operations in a timely manner.
Water Quality Monitoring: Regularly test and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Maintain accurate records of water quality parameters, such as pH, conductivity, total organic carbon (TOC), and microbiological counts.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain proper documentation of operating parameters, maintenance activities, and any deviations or incidents related to the purified water systems. Generate reports and communicate findings to the supervisor or relevant stakeholders as required.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and participate in audits and inspections.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings in the operation of purified water systems. Suggest and implement corrective actions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Training and Collaboration: Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to purified water systems. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
