..QualificationsOverview of the programmeThe Junior Public Health Professional (JPP) Programme in WHO South-East Asia Region (WHO-SEAR) is operational since 2011. Its primary goal is to offer young public health professionals under 35 years of age from South-East Asia Region (SEAR) Member States a valuable opportunity for hands-on learning and leadership development.The program aims to enhance technical and management skills in implementing targeted health programs and expose participants to methodologies and strategies used by WHO, inter-governmental organizations, and other international health development partners in providing essential support to nations.To ensure equitable capacity building across SEAR Member States and attract young talent in key public health areas, opportunities are proposed to be provided through a JPP roster mechanism.JPP opportunities are available in the following technical areas:
