Room Service Order Taker
Job Description
Takes guests\' food and beverage orders. Communicates in a friendly manner with in-room dining servers. Processes payments for goods and services to include room charges, credit card, and cash. Provides menu suggestions. Answers telephones within three rings. Coordinates all service requirements addressed to Room Service. Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor. Documents orders and repeats items back to callers to ensure accuracy. Quotes expected arrival time with speed and accuracy. Punches the food and beverage orders on to the Point of Sales systems like Micros POS.
