The Robotics Trainer will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in the field of robotics and related technologies. This role involves creating engaging and interactive lesson plans, conducting practical sessions, and fostering a learning environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development and Planning:
• Design Curriculum: Develop a comprehensive robotics curriculum that aligns with educational standards and the school's objectives.
• Lesson Plans: Create detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and resources to teach various aspects of robotics, including mechanical design, electronics, and programming.
• Assessment: Design assessment tools and strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding of robotics concepts.
2. Instruction and Training:
• Classroom Teaching: Deliver robotics lessons to students at various educational levels (elementary, middle, or high school) through interactive and engaging teaching methods.
• Hands-On Activities: Facilitate hands-on workshops and lab sessions where students can build and program robots.
• Project Guidance: Mentor and support students in individual and group robotics projects, competitions, and exhibitions.
3. Student Engagement and Development:
• Encourage Participation: Promote interest and participation in robotics clubs, teams, and extracurricular activities.
• Skill Development: Help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills through robotics challenges and collaborative projects.
• Mentorship: Provide mentorship and support to students pursuing advanced robotics projects or competitive robotics events.
4. Resource Management:
• Equipment Maintenance: Manage and maintain robotics lab equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Inventory Control: Keep an inventory of robotics kits, components, and supplies, and order new materials as needed.
5. Professional Development:
• Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest developments in robotics technology and education to incorporate new techniques and tools into the curriculum.
• Training: Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences related to robotics and STEM education.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration to integrate robotics into the broader school curriculum.
• Parent Communication: Communicate with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement in robotics.
• Community Engagement: Engage with the local community and industry partners to enhance the robotics program through guest lectures, sponsorships, and partnerships.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Engineering, ECE, IoT, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of robotics concepts, programming languages (such as Python, C++, etc.), and hardware components (Arduino, Micro controllers, Raspberry pi, ROS 1, ROS 2).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and engage learners of various levels.
• Patience and dedication to helping students achieve their learning goals.
