Orleans The school is seeking a passionate and innovative Robotics Teacher to inspire and educate students in the exciting field of robotics and engineering. The ideal candidate will create an engaging curriculum, promote hands-on learning, and foster a collaborative classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive robotics curriculum for students at various skill levels.
• Teach foundational concepts of robotics, programming, and engineering principles.
• Guide students in hands-on projects, encouraging creativity and problem-solving.
• Organize and supervise robotics clubs and competitions, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
• Integrate technology and software tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate robotics into interdisciplinary projects.
• Stay current with advancements in robotics and educational technology.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching strategies.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff about student progress and program updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Teaching certification preferred.
• Experience in teaching robotics or related subjects is a plus.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with robotics platforms (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, Arduino).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying ages and abilities.
