This role reports to the CRO for FX Capital Markets and is part of the Group Risk Function. This function covers all aspects of Operational, Financial and Strategic risk, giving insight and exposure to all areas across the Group, acting as a close advisor to businesses, and engaging in all key initiatives. The Risk Manager will partner with the FX Capital Markets business, ensuring the effective management of risk while also providing risk management advice and guidance, and providing support to the CRO and the wider Risk Management function. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and curious, possessing strong influencing and communication skills, and will be comfortable collaborating with multiple team members. Key Responsibilities Oversight of the Risk Management Framework across FX Capital Markets globally Provide effective second line independent oversight and challenge to decisions that affect the business\'s exposure to risk Facilitate the development and communication of Risk Appetite Statements with entity Boards, Senior Management and Executive Committees locally, ensuring that all business activities align with the stated limits of that appetite In conjunction with Senior Management, assist in response to regulators on risk issues impacting business Provide independent second line review and challenge of the first line Risk and Control Assessment Process Support/work with the business to identify key risk and control indicators to support a data-driven risk management approach Interact with relevant teams to ensure trading systems, books and records, and information security practices remain aligned with Group policies and industry regulation Production of high-quality risk management reports Embedding of Group Risk Control system Promote a strong risk culture Essential Skills 5+ years\' experience working in Risk Management for organizations in the financial industry, preferably in Foreign Exchange, Trading or Capital Markets. Degree in Economics/Finance or similar field Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
