About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Manager.
In this role, you will: • Manage and develop a team of professionals with low to moderate complexity and risk within Risk Analytics, and engage management, and experienced leadership in Analytics and Reporting.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for transformation of data into actionable information that drives business outcomes, strategies, and risk control development.
• Manage modeling, forecasting, reporting, and data distribution tools and processes requiring significant technical complexity within analytics.
• Make decisions and resolve issues regarding data aggregation, strategies, resources, and operations of risk analytics to meet business objectives.
• Interpret and develop risk policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within Analytics and Reporting.
• Recommend strategies and actions to be considered by management relative to high risk.
• Collaborate with and consult with team, peers, and multiple level managers; interact directly with external customers.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Risk Analytics
• Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Required Qualifications: • 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications: • 8+ years of Product Management, Business Transformation, Data, Analytics, Reporting, Management Consulting, Project Management, Strategic Planning, or Technology experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 3+ years of professional experience working directly with Technology teams in managing agile delivery of a product.
• 2+ years of managerial experience, leading diverse and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in the banking and financial sectors, particularly related to Lending, Credit, and/or Risk Management
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions, such as PowerBI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Dremio, Spark, SQL, Toad, etc.
• Experience leveraging data to design and deliver tech products that help with critical business decision-making
• Ability to lead project teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to contribute to strategic decisions and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Develop consensus and gain buy-in for strategic priorities.
• Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
• Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional area.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Job Expectations: • Credit Risk Intelligence and Transformation is looking for a Risk Analytics Manager to support the Credit Business Intelligence (Credit BI) and Credit Risk Product Management teams.
• The Credit BI team is responsible for delivering authoritative, actionable insights that enable CRO and Business teams to monitor and manage their Credit portfolios
• The Product Management team functions as product managers across the target state product areas of the platform, including UI/UX, Digital, Analytics, Reporting, and Data
• We are seeking a Risk Analytics Manager that will build out and lead a team of Business Intelligence professionals and Product Managers delivering critical work for the CRIT organization.
• This team will be an integral part of the Credit BI organization in delivering critical production reporting and analytics capabilities to Corporate Credit Risk, CB, CIB, WIM and other teams. The Credit BI organization is in the process of centralizing and modernizing all reporting capabilities leveraging innovative technologies, such as PowerBI and Dremio.
• Additionally, this team will also support the target state transformation journey as part of the Credit Risk 360 roadmap. This team will partner with Technology in defining, designing, developing, and rolling out new data, analytics, and digital capabilities
• In this role leading this team, the ideal candidate will deeply understand user needs, outline product roadmaps, define solution architecture, and independently own "backlog" of business requirements for agile delivery. Critical to success will also be working closely with user community, senior executives, and other Risk and Business stakeholders to balance near-term priorities and long-term transformation goals.
• Be responsible for the development, delivery, and ongoing production of critical analytics assets leveraged by senior leadership across CRO and Business teams
• Partner closely with CRIT, Credit Risk, and Business leadership in understanding and resolving any data operations, governance, or other issues
• Lead the research, design, execution, and implementation of multiple new credit risk data and analytics products aimed at solving critical business problems
• Own the multi-year product roadmap and strategy for your specific product area comprising of multiple new capabilities; actively work with senior stakeholders to communicate vision, influence outcomes, and secure buy-in
• Inspire, mentor, and coach members of the cross-functional team
• Collaborate closely with Engineering leadership and Tech scrum teams to ensure vision alignment and efficient delivery
• Lead and participate in formal and informal stakeholder sessions, including steering committees, product cabinets, change management forums, etc.
• Prepare executive-level communications on team scope, approach, solution and value drivers
• Actively work with CRIT leadership to develop a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and champion product management principles
• Support CRIT leadership in managing allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives.
