JOB DESCRIPTION

Position - : Design Engineer/Rivet Modeller - Electrical

Reports To : Sr. Design Engineer •/ • Design Manager .

Location - Bangalore

Experience - 2-5 Yrs

Salary - upto 35k

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop 3D Mechanical (FF, PDFF & HVAC) construction drawings/models with the AutoCAD Rivet software under the supervision of the Mechanical (FF, PDFF & HVAC) Design Manager on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with other services and assist in developing Coordinated Services Drawings/Models by carrying out allowed changes to the MEP layout.
• Extract Mechanical (FF, PDFF & HVAC) Layouts from approved Coordinated Services Model and prepare layout drawings for Submission as per teh project requirements.
• Develop accurate QTO (Quantity Take off) from the drawings and maintain QTO record as per the drawing revisions.
• Maintain the drawing submission tracker and work on the drawings/models in accordance with the work plan to be issued by the Design Manager/Sr. Design Engineer.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn and apply Electrical Designing and Drafting techniques.
• Communicate effectively with other disciplines to ensure cooperation between Electrical , mechanical and Civil Projects.
• Manage the requirements of multiple projects simultaneously including time management and deliverable prioritization.
• Maintain an organized filing system within each project ensuring all documentation and revision control is accurate as per project policy.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience preferably in Metro Rail Projects or Large projects in modelling/drafting electrical services in coordinated with other services.
• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Capable AutoCAD Rivet user with a passion for learning.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude in a fast paced and demanding work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Must possess written and oral English skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
