Your Impact: Managing the project accounting and billing process you will respond to Management inquiries, verify employee\'s billable time with the time recording system making sure that revenue leakages are avoided Working closely with operations staff on this account you will ensure that the process is compliant with both company procedures and prescribed accounting practices and standards. Your focus will also include analysis of adherence and performance against contract terms and conditions You will work closely with Project Managers (PM) and Principals-in-Charge (PIC), regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing. Work with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams As a participant, you will: Experience 16 weeks of on the job learning and exploration with a diverse community of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds Access the vast network of resources at Jacobs through continual leadership development, support and mentorship from our dedicated Returnship program team Be confident that you will receive ongoing support and mentorship and support as you navigate the transition with us to permanent employment Be a part of our Returnship cohort community participating in regular focus group feedback session and social events to facilitate a seamless transition as you return to the workforce. Here\'s What You\'ll Need: Here\'s What You\'ll Need: You will have a degree (or higher), in Accounting (B.Com/M.Com) Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards - particularly revenue recognition Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Oracle Financials You have had a career break of at least 1 year You are interested in returning to work on a permanent basis (both part time and full-time options available) You have at least fiveyears of relevant post graduate professional experience You are driven and thrive in a collaborative team You are available to start the Returnship program in May 2023 Jacobs has shown you how we\'re solving the world\'s greatest challenges by transforming intangible ideas into intelligent solutions for a more connected, sustainable world Jacobs.
