The Jacobs Returnship program has been designed for talented professionals looking to REFRESH SKILLS, REBUILD CONFIDENCE and REIGNITE CAREERS after an extended career break and absence from the workforce. This is paid, 16-week initiative with intent to transition our returners to permanent placement. As diverse as our business is, as are the opportunities we have available. Our cohort of Returnship participants will join multidisciplinary teams across a variety of divisions.

Your Focus:

  • Provide graphic design technical support using Adobe software. Any other advanced computer application would be an advantage
  • Create complex graphics and elements for collateral including technical project reports, proposals, presentations, and marketing deliverables. This can also include creating and formatting electronic and hard copy deliverables
  • Leads the graphic design phase for moderately complex documents.
  • Coordinate graphics production and assists in establishing budget
  • Follows approved graphic design methods using standard tools. May suggest alternative methods and develop best practices
As a participant, you will:
  • Experience 16 weeks of on the job learning and exploration with a diverse community of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Access the vast network of resources at Jacobs through continual leadership development, support and mentorship from our dedicated Returnship program team
  • Be confident that you will receive ongoing support and mentorship and support as you navigate the transition with us to permanent employment
  • Be a part of our Returnship cohort community participating in regular focus group feedback session and social events to facilitate a seamless transition as you return to the workforce
Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:
  • You will have a degree (or higher)in arts design or other relevant discipline
  • You have had a career break of at least 1 year
  • You are interested in returning to work on a permanent basis (both part time and full-time options available)
  • You have at least five years of relevant post graduate professional experience
  • You are driven and thrive in a collaborative team
  • You are available to start the Returnship program in April 2023
