Job Description


Position Overview: As a Retail Sales Executive specializing in FMCG, you will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing revenue within our retail channels. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders in the FMCG sector, ensuring that our products are prominently featured and effectively promoted to consumers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail partners, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and specialty retailers, to drive sales and increase market penetration.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned territories or accounts.
  • Conduct regular visits to retail outlets to assess product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards. Coordinate with distributors and wholesalers to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of products to retail stores.
  • Train retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques to enhance product knowledge and drive sales.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store activations to drive consumer engagement and sales.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, market data, and performance metrics to track progress and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and building relationships with retail partners.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and promotional activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets and delivering results.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and familiarity with sales tracking software or CRM systems.
