: Retail Counter Sales Executive

Position: Retail Counter Sales Executive

Position Type: Full-time

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
• Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions based on customer needs.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Sales Achievement:
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the management.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's products and services to drive sales.
• Merchandising and Display:
• Ensure products are well-displayed, organized, and stocked at all times.
• Assist in setting up promotional displays and signage.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Transaction Processing:
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring compliance with store policies.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform end-of-day reconciliation.
• Store Maintenance:
• Keep the retail counter and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
• Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
• Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other sales executives and store staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving sales strategies and customer service practices.
• Assist in training new employees as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ENGLISH IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE
