: Sales Associate

Location: Carasid Cake Shop, Siolim

Position: Sales Associate

Overview:

As a Sales Associate at Carasid, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, handling sales, managing orders, and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations in the cake shop. This role requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers with cake selection and inquiries.

Provide product information and suggest suitable cakes or pastries based on customer needs.

Handle complaints and ensure a positive customer experience.

2. Cash Handling:

Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.

Maintain and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.

Handle refunds, receipts, and any cash-related issues as per company policies.

3. Order Management:

Take customer orders in-store, over the phone, or online.

Accurately record and process orders, ensuring proper details are noted (such as customization, delivery times, etc.).

Coordinate with the baking team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

4. Stock Management:

Assist with managing inventory levels, including restocking and replenishing displays.

Communicate low stock levels to the store manager.

5. Shop Maintenance:

Ensure the cake display is well-presented and attractive to customers.

Keep the shop clean, organized, and in line with health and safety standards.

6. Other Duties:

Assist with special promotions, events, or seasonal offerings.

Collaborate with the team to meet store goals and sales targets.

Qualifications :

Prior experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is preferred.

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Basic math skills for managing transactions.

Schedule:

Morning shift: 9am - 6pm

Evening shift: 6pm - 11pm
