MetalXperts is seeking experienced and result-oriented Retail Outlet Managers (ROMs) to oversee the day-to-day sales & operations of our Metamart Outlets. The ROM will be responsible for managing the outlet\'s sales, demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics, customer engagement, marketing campaign and team handling. This role will require efficient market mapping, product mix management, and a focus on maximizing return on investment (ROI).

The Retail Outlet Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining values & the high standards of MetalXperts Group.

Key Responsibilities :

Market Mapping & Demand Forecasting :

- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competition to map market dynamics.

- Develop demand forecasting models based on historical data and market insights.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather market intelligence.

Stock Indenting & Inventory management :

- Manage the procurement and indenting process for raw materials and products.

- Optimize inventory levels to ensure efficient operations while minimizing carrying costs.

- Implement inventory control measures to reduce stockouts and overstock situations. Sales, Collections

After sales :

- Manage direct sales operations at the Metamarts outlet.

- Identify and fulfill the needs of customers through effective customer connect.

- Handle primary products including iron and steel products, paints, tools, chemicals, and industrial raw materials.

Customer Engagement, Marketing & Promotional activities :

- Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and brand awareness.

- Generate day-to-day operational reports and communicate them to the higher management.

Logistics Management :

- Oversee both inward and outward logistics to ensure the smooth flow of products.

- Optimize inventory and maintain stock levels to meet customer demand.

Team Leading :

- Operate and lead a local team effectively.

- Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) and product teams for efficient outlet management.

Sales and Collection :

- Ensure timely sales and collection processes.

- Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.

Accounting, MIS & Reporting :

- Oversee financial transactions, accounts payable, and accounts receivables.

- Develop and maintain an efficient MIS to monitor key performance indicators.

- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights to management.

- Prepare timely and accurate reports on market trends ,demand forecasts ,and inventory status.

- Present financial reports to management and stakeholders.

- Provide insights and recommendations for improving operational efficiency and profitability.

Statutory Compliance :

- Handle GST and other compliance requirements for the outlet.

Qualifications :

- Any Graduate / Post Graduate (Engineering, Business management will be preferred)

- Proven experience in retail management, with a successful track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Strong understanding & experience of industrial products & markets like metals, paints, tools, chemicals, cement, sanitaryware or industrial raw materials.

- Proficient in using data for market mapping and decision-making.

- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and team management skills.

- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management.

- Familiarity with return on investment & cost analysis.

- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
