Kitchen Staff
Position : Kitchen Staff (Chef, Line Cook, Prep Cook)
Reports to : Head Chef/Kitchen Manager
Responsibilities :
• Prepare and cook dishes according to Si Nonna's recipes and quality standards, focusing on authentic Italian cuisine.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards, practicing proper food storage and handling.
• Assist with menu development, incorporating traditional Italian flavors and modern trends.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, complying with health and safety regulations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, performing basic maintenance as needed.
• Assist in managing inventory, including receiving and stocking supplies.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food delivery.
Qualifications :
• Prior experience in an Italian restaurant or familiarity with Italian cuisine is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Service Staff
Position : Service Staff (Server, Host/Hostess, Food Runner)
Reports to : Front-of-House Manager
Responsibilities :
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel welcome and valued.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, offering suggestions based on the menu.
• Serve dishes promptly and with a professional demeanor, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table setup and clearing.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to manage order timing and special requests.
• Handle payments, using the restaurant's POS system efficiently.
• Uphold Si Nonna's standards of hospitality, reflecting a passion for Italian culture and cuisine.
Qualifications :
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Italian food and wine is a bonus.
