We are looking for Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at Velvet Dawn cafe and restaurant in Trivandrum.

Velvet Dawn Cafe and Restaurant, an award-winning establishment located in the heart of Sasthamangalam, Trivandrum, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to join our dynamic team.

Velvet Dawn is a renowned cafe and restaurant celebrated for its unique blend of Continental, Indian, Thai, and Chinese cuisine. Our establishment is a collaborative venture between Swedish and Indian entrepreneurs, bringing together a wealth of experience in the restaurant industry from both Sweden and India.



•Key Responsibilities:•

Leadership:

• Provide strong leadership to the restaurant team, fostering a positive work environment and culture.
• Lead by example, demonstrating professional conduct and work ethic.

Financial Management:

• Manage financial budgets and monitor costs to ensure profitability.
• Generate profit through effective cost control and revenue enhancement strategies.
• Review financial records and financial reports.

Marketing and Promotion:

• Oversee and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Coordinate with marketing agency of to promote the restaurant through various channels to increase visibility and sales.

Staff Management:

• Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
• Create and assign staff shifts to meet operational needs efficiently.
• Handle employee issues and conflicts professionally, ensuring a harmonious work environment.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and building strong customer relationships.
• Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.

Menu and Food Quality:

• Plan and update menus, ensuring competitive pricing and high food quality.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain consistency and excellence.

Inventory and Supply Management:

• Manage inventory levels and order supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Monitor stock and reduce wastage through efficient inventory control.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to environmental, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Technology Management:

• Implement and oversee the use of technology systems to enhance operational efficiency (e.g., POS systems, reservation systems, inventory management software).
• Ensure data security and privacy compliance in all technology-related processes.
• Analyze and utilize data from technology systems to improve customer experience and operational performance.

Education and Background:

Bachelor's or master's degree in business or hospitality management.

Proven experience in the restaurant industry, with a track record of successful management.

Reporting Structure:

The RGM is responsible for the company's overall growth, strategic leadership, and representing the company.

The RGM reports directly to the Directors.

Compensation:

Performance-based salary structure for the RGM, with incentives tied to key performance metrics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?40,000.00 per month
