Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the cashier plays a vital role in creating a positive dining experience. You'll be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing the register, and assisting with front-of-house operations to ensure efficiency and great service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and issue receipts or change Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area Assist in packing to-go orders and managing pick-up/delivery orders Answer customer questions about the menu and make recommendations when appropriate Resolve customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate manager Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed (e.g., refilling supplies, bussing tables)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience is a plus Basic math skills and experience handling cash Comfortable using a POS system Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
