Job Summary: As a Restaurant Captain at The Trishala Vilas, you will oversee the service staff and ensure that guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and serve as a key point of contact for guests, addressing any concerns and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guest Services:
• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements.
• Ensure that guests are seated promptly and comfortably.
• Take orders, answer questions about the menu and make recommendations.
• Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure they are enjoying their meals and provide exceptional service.
• Staff Management:
• Supervise and support the waitstaff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
• Train new staff members on service standards and restaurant procedures.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Assist in the scheduling and management of the service staff.
• Operational Duties:
• Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas.
• Ensure that all areas of the restaurant are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the manager for supply orders.
• Assist with the management of daily cash and credit transactions.
