Position: Captain

Location: Bhubaneswar/Cuttack

Restaurant Type: Multi-Cuisine Restaurant

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of stewards and other service staff, ensuring high service standards across all cuisines.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally in a multi-cuisine setting.

Training and Development: Train new staff members on the nuances of serving multiple cuisines and provide ongoing support and guidance to the team.

Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverage items, regardless of cuisine, are served according to company standards and guest preferences.

Order Management: Oversee the order-taking process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in communication with the kitchen staff for diverse menu items.

Problem Resolution: Handle any service-related issues or guest complaints, escalating to management as necessary.

Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that supplies for various cuisines are adequately stocked.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all staff adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, particularly those relevant to handling multiple types of cuisine.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2-3 years experience as captain role within a multi-cuisine restaurant.

Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in managing multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry items up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?17,000.00 per month
