They are responsible for handling customer complaints and resolving any issues that may arise during service.Overall, the restaurant captain plays an important role in ensuring the success of the restaurant. They are responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service to all guests.As a restaurant captain, you are responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and ensuring only the highest quality products are being served.Education:Diploma or degree in Management or related field. Familiar with Point-of-sale systems, MS Office, Property management systems, etc.RequirementsRestaurant CaptainJob Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Deliver quality customer service to all guests.\xc2\xb7 Take reservations and enquire purpose of visit.\xc2\xb7 Greet each guest promptly and courteously with good smile and body language.\xc2\xb7 Present menu and share promotions, specials and items to customers.\xc2\xb7 Take food and beverage orders, repeat orders to guests and inform guest of estimatedtime to serve.\xc2\xb7 Oversee a team of servers who are assigned to his/her shift.\xc2\xb7 Key orders in the Point-of-Sale system efficiently.\xc2\xb7 Process payment and check bills promptly.\xc2\xb7 Maintain cleanliness of the outlet.\xc2\xb7 Assist manager by getting involved in planning and organizing of special events.\xc2\xb7 Check food and beverage inventories and stocks in a consistent and accurate manner.\xc2\xb7 Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Complete opening, operating, and closing procedures.\xc2\xb7 Handle problem with cashier payments.\xc2\xb7 Escalate guests complain to duty manager if unable to conduct service recovery.\xc2\xb7 Implement plans to deliver excellent service for outlet.Job Requirements:\xc2\xb7 Relevent experience working in cafe or bistro will be an advantage.\xc2\xb7 Execellent customer service and willingness to learn new items on food and service;\xc2\xb7 Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;\xc2\xb7 Able to work in fast-paced F&B environment;\xc2\xb7 Able to commit weekends and public holidays;\xc2\xb7 Able to work split shift\xc2\xb7 Able to work at various locations.
