Responsibilities:
• Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, escort them to their tables, and ensure they receive prompt and courteous service throughout their dining experience.
• Oversee the dining room operations to ensure smooth and efficient service, including seating arrangements, table turnovers, and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and cafe staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Train and supervise waitstaff in proper service procedures, including taking orders, serving dishes, and handling guest inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu items, specials, and beverage offerings to provide recommendations and answer questions from guests.
• Handle guest reservations, special requests, and VIP arrangements with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness and presentation, including table settings, decor, and lighting, to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
• Assist in handling cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the restaurant management team to implement policies and procedures for improving service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by guests promptly and courteously, striving to resolve conflicts and ensure a positive dining experience.
