Job Description

Post: Restaurant Captain / Guest Service Supervisor

Location: Assam ( Guwahati, Jorhat, Dibrugarh)

Experience: 2 years in F & B service

Education: HS

CTC: Rs. 14,000 - 16,000

This role involves processing customers' orders and payments and ensuring they receive the correct change if paying by cash. The Prime duties are:

• Assists guests in person or via telephonic contact for all communication including, but not limited to, order taking and/or cancellations, payments, questions, billing process, collecting payments through cash, card, UPI etc.

Able to make reasonable and professional decisions.

Accurately manage cash drawer and online payment system.

Generate accurate reports for each register

• Communicate pertinent shift information to the next shift and direct supervisor.
• Assist and guide the FOH staff through their daily duties and responsibilities.
• Train Front of House staff as designated and outlined in the FOH Training Procedures as and when required.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Use the appropriate phrases and greetings when interacting with guests.
• Conduct self in a friendly and attentive manner during all guest encounters.
• Offer assistance to the individual needs and requests of all guests.
• Ensure guest needs are responded to in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide information pertaining to menu and services, making reservations if needed.
• Use proper telephone etiquette including describing the menu item, proper rate quotation and capturing reservations. Operate phone system in, at times, a fast paced environment.
• Required to be knowledge, understanding, and adhere to Company Core Values and Mission Statement. Lead by example.
• You are responsible for working in a safe and conscientious manner and ensuring the Department staff members work in a safe and conscientious manner. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional way.

Basic math skills

High level of Integrity, responsibility, leadership skills, and organizational Skills.

Having an understanding knowledge of POS systems to process orders and take credit or debit cards, Net Banking, Online payments, and cash payments.

Should be able to work, standing for long hours.

Should be a Team Player

Should be open to work on weekends and holidays

Having Positive attitude and cheerful nature

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?14,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
