RESTAURANT CAPTAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Guest Service & Experience:
• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and ensure guests are informed of daily specials and promotions.
• Address guest inquiries, special requests, or complaints promptly and effectively.
2. Supervision & Team Coordination:
• Assign and supervise the duties of waiters, stewards, and other service staff.
• Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and service team for timely food delivery.
• Assist in training new service staff on restaurant protocols and customer service standards.
3. Order Management & Table Service:
• Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen.
• Ensure proper presentation and delivery of food and beverages.
• Oversee table setup, cleanliness, and readiness for guests.
4. Operations & Inventory Management:
• Monitor stock levels of service equipment and consumables.
• Assist in managing table reservations and maintaining guest records.
• Support the manager in preparing shift schedules and handling shift handovers.
5. Compliance & Cleanliness:
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and service standards.
• Monitor that all team members follow company policies and maintain professional behavior.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
