Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Restaurant Captain

to join our team and lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage and inspire the service team.

Key Responsibilities:



Guest Experience:

Greet and welcome guests warmly, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve complaints professionally.

Service Management:

Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the dining area. Assign tasks to service staff and ensure smooth execution of service. Conduct pre-service briefings to discuss menu updates, special events, and service objectives.

Order Taking and Coordination:

Take and manage orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.

Team Leadership:

Train, guide, and motivate the service team to maintain high standards of hospitality. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.

Upselling and Revenue Management:

Promote menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize revenue. Implement upselling techniques and meet sales targets.

Hygiene and Safety Compliance:

Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Conduct regular checks on table setups, service stations, and dining areas.

Inventory and Supplies Management:

Monitor and maintain inventory of service equipment and supplies. Report shortages and requisition necessary items in a timely manner.

Reporting and Feedback:

Maintain service records and prepare daily shift reports for management. Provide feedback to management on guest experiences and operational improvements.

Requirements:



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays. Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
