Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Resort Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Resort Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating revenue by promoting our resort to prospective clients, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to drive revenue growth for the resort.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential business partners.
• Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and networking activities to generate leads and secure new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Coordinate site visits and familiarization trips for prospective clients to showcase the resort's amenities and services.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and budget.
• Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-stay follow-up, to ensure client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as reservations, events, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client bookings and events.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts using CRM software.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of the resort effectively.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving targets.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client schedules and business demands.
• Knowledge of local market trends and travel industry dynamics is a plus.
• Knowledge of OTA Intergration is must.
