:
Inputs all confirmed reservations into our booking system (hotel bookings, tours & excursions etc.) and communicate the same to hotels and respective suppliers
Ensures accuracy in the prices offered in the quotations; makes sure correct rates are given according to corresponding rates as approved by the Key Account Managers
Prepare invoices for all confirmed bookings according to the systems pricing
Follow up on hotel confirmations, tours and excursions etc. re-checking the details once again before sending to Accounts Department for invoicing
Amends, cancels bookings whenever requested and charges agents/clients according to hotel contract & cancellation policy
Seeks opportunities to maximize on revenue; upsell to clients by offering higher room types, added tours & excursions
Keeps up to date on various update of Hotel rates, special rates & promotions, ground handling service charges etc.
Monitors all bookings for individual clients and ensure that payment is received prior to cancellation deadline
Process daily administrative tasks such as monitor Arrival check list, No-Shows and Show-ups reports received from Airport Representatives and accordingly communicate relevant information to our agents to action
Attends Hotel show-arounds and inspections to have clear understanding of the product (room types, facilities etc.)
Provides feedback on any communications to various internal department in case of any rate disputes
Flag any issues for resolution to team leader
Other duties as assigned, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
Skills Required:
Experience in a client-focused, travel services environment
Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Courteous, professional telephone manner.
Able to maintain work volume and quality consistent with peers.
Must be able to work holidays that correspond with regularly scheduled workdays.
Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is required.
Job requires preforming basic arithmetic accurately and computing rates and percentages.
Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility.
