The ICCT is looking for a self-directed, energetic resource to implement the research strategy of transitioning to electric vehicles in India. Representative work can be seen at https://theicct.org/india.
To be successful in our environment, you must be intellectually curious, self-directed, and be able to work with people from across the globe. You must be able to connect research to policy and translate technical information to stakeholders. This is a full-time position that will be based in Delhi (Remote) and will report to the India Managing Director in Delhi.
You Will:

• Lead the work around electric mobility in India
• Support the work on developing policies and roadmap framework around accelerating the shift to Electric Vehicles
• Support in managing projects with diverse partners and take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project
• Support and co-author ground-breaking research in India
• Support in maintaining productive working relationships with academic experts, civil society, industry, and government officials in India
• Support in communicating the work of the ICCT in a clear and effective manner
• Support in creating policy briefs for accelerated decarbonization of transportation
• Provide support related to the capacity enhancement of key stakeholders
• Other responsibilities as assigned

You Have:

• Master\'s or PhD in planning, engineering, economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time professional experience in the private sector, academia, civil society, or other research setting with a focus on transportation, energy, environment, and/or policy
• Understanding of electric power grid works, and its interaction with electric vehicle charging
• Understanding of renewable energy and its integration into the power grid
• Excellent and demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and research skills, such as experience collecting and analyzing large datasets, drafting technical papers, and distilling research evidence into key actions
• Examples of successful project management or a project management certification
• Strong interpersonal and English communication skills, both written and verbal

Our Benefits
This position will be based in Delhi (Remote). Some domestic (within India) and international travel may be required. This is a full-time benefit-eligible position, with a salary starting at INR 2,000,000 per annum.
