Company Description TestFyra is a UK-based organisation serving clients globally, with a focus on software engineering, solution architecture, and end-to-end testing for the software and telecommunications industries. Our services also extend to DevOps, network monitoring, and quality assurance in diverse sectors such as telecoms, IT, automotive, IoT, cloud computing, and healthcare. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement 5G end to end network including RAN, CORE, OSS, BSS using open-source software solutions and vendor-based products.
- HLD and LLD lab design for private 5G architecture.
- Deploy CNF/VNF based 5G network components in the Testfyra hybrid cloud lab.
- Manage all integration, CI/CD pipeline activities from orchestration, deployment, delivery on selected virtualisation platform such as OpenStack, VMware.
- Develop private LLM from various methods such as fine-tunning, pre-training using open-source AI models.
- Study latest 3GPP, GSMA and ETSI standards, 5G releases and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
- Apply cloud-native architecture based on K8 to develop private 5G lab.
- Perform integration, functional, non-functional testing using manual and automation tools such as SIPp, wireshark, Seagull, JMeter.
- Use traffic emulation and simulation open-source and vendor-based tools for non-functional testing.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in python and Linux for scripting and API integration
- Understanding of telecom architecture of 4G, IMS, 5G SA/NSA, WIFI, private 5G
- Knowledge of telecom protocols and call flow
- Experience with laboratory equipment and experimental procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous research experience in telecommunications 4G, IMS, 5G call flow and architecture.
- Familiarity with simulation software and tools such as free5G, Open5GCore, Open5GS, free5GRAN, Magma.
- Practical experience in working with open-source solution and implementing it.
- Practical experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline with Git hub, Git hub actions, Jenkins, K8, Jfrog, VMware CNF.
