We are looking for a hands-on Industrial Automation engineer with an interest in growing career towards research and development in the broader areas of Industrial automation and controls You will be responsible for technically supporting the conceptualisation, development and implementation of methods and processes with focus on improving the production controls system s in Aerospace Manufacturing You will be part of the team to develop and Industrialize control systems in the TRL1-6 range, using your diverse skills and competencies Job Responsibilities Develop, execute, implement and check methods, plans, toolsets and approaches that are appropriate and compliant to achieve Industrial Automation solutions under technology development programs Identify technical problems and apply/integrate solutions as needed with a Systems Engineering approach. Analyse customer requirements and define the associated technical solutions as input for proposals within assigned programs and develop proof of concepts Work with cross functional teams to identify and assess risks and develop mitigation plans by providing technical solutions Generate assigned project deliverables, documents, and reports according to the project signature authorizations Support and participate in technical reviews, including the creation and preparation of technical data and presentations as needed and support other engineers with peer to peer reviews Support idea generation and CI activities Take part in regular sprint planning meetings to plan, review and deliver based on agile philosophy within the program Support with the creation of training material and initiatives relevant to area of work Perform all activities at a level of very minimal supervision and support other engineers within the program as required General Must possess knowledge of Industrial Automation solutions with experience of working with Programmable Logic Controller for Integration of Automation solutions. Must be proficient in Object based Programming using C++ or C#. Must possess basic knowledge and understanding of the System Architectures and Platforms for Real time Operating systems with PLC s, Robots , Linux and Windows based systems. Must possess a high level of technical problem solving skills and innovative mind set to conceptualize ideas and develop them to feasible solutions with an interest to work in developing technologies Essential: Master/Bachelors in Engineering degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics , Electrical and Communication, Production, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace or related similar fields Experience in Industrial Automation technologies with minimum 4-5 years of experience with Data logging and Motion control controller. Demonstrated proficiency in programming Beckhoff(Codesys) and Siemens PLC Proficient in C++, C# and working knowledge in GIT. An understanding of welding process, Additive Manufacturing and aerospace materials.
