Role Summary :

The Research and Development Centre of Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, located in Bangalore, India, executing R&D programs for global Mining applications and supporting customers in Asia/Pacific

Essential Responsibilities / Expectations :

Effective engagement in research, development, and evaluation of chemical additives for Industrial applications related to Industrial Water & process Treatment, predominantly focused on Mining Applications.

• Work with global R&D and product management teams to identify opportunities and define product requirements for specific (mining) applications
• Design, organize, and execute experiments to develop innovative chemical products and drive their valorization
• Develop and perform customized lab test methods to evaluate chemical product efficacys for different process applications, preventing deposition, scale and corrosion
• Interact with and provide support to commercial, field service, product management, supply chain, vendors and clients throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Communicate research results to internal and external stakeholders through reports and presentations
• prepare technical reports with independent interpretation of data, coordinate the efforts of external resources related to specific projects or requests, and establish a high level of scientific knowledge.

Educational Qualification :

Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science discipline or a B.S. degree with more extensive experience

Experience Required :

3-5 years' experience in industrial Water & Process or Mining Industry Application
