Job Purpose (1-2 Lines):
Be a part of protein science team and perform recombinant DNA techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and perform recombinant DNA techniques like PCR, RT-PCR,
• Cloning techniques like Ligation based cloning, recombination based cloning, shRNA cloning, Sub cloning
• Site directed mutagenesis
• Sanger sequence data analysis
• Genomic DNA/RNA isolation techniques
• Knowledge of software like Vector NTI/Geneious/ SnapGene
• Diligent documentation skills and experience writing detailed E-Lab/Lab Notebooks

Educational Qualification and experience:
M.Tech / M.Sc or similar qualifications in Biotechnology/ Cell Biology/ Biomedical Sciences/ Life Sciences with 1-2 years of research experience.

Technical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)

• Design and perform recombinant DNA techniques like PCR, RT-PCR,
• Cloning techniques like Ligation based cloning, recombination based cloning, shRNA cloning, Sub cloning
• Site directed mutagenesis
• Sanger sequence data analysis
• Genomic DNA/RNA isolation techniques
• Knowledge of software like Vector NTI/Geneious/ SnapGene
• Diligent documentation skills and experience writing detailed E-Lab/Lab Notebooks

DESIRABLE

• Reagent inventory maintenance
• Experience with liquid handlers
• High throughput cloning techniques

• Ensure completion of experiments and generate accurate and reproducible data from experiments.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously with; comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
• Good oral and written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
