We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to set up and run experiments, manage data acquisition and analysis, and maintain inventory and lab space. This role is pivotal in executing experiments to support the development and operations of purification processes, contributing to the advancement of our scientific endeavours.Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for executing experiments related to buffer preparation, including programming as necessary, setting up chromatography/filtration modules, and monitoring process progression.
  • Your role will include generation of essential data for assigned unit operations and supporting material generation for toxicology and clinical studies.
  • You will record experimental data, log-book entries, and other analytical data for supporting subsequent data consolidation, and support data summarization for report drafting.
  • You will be responsible for the regular maintenance of equipment, minimizing downtime, and coordinating with Supply Chain Management and vendors for consumables.
  • Additionally, you will maintain laboratory orderliness and adherence to standard safety practices to minimize downtime of assigned equipment and upkeep of the lab.
QualificationsEducational qualification: A Bachelor's (B.Tech. or B.E. or B.Pharm.) or Master's (M.Sc. or M.Tech. or M.E. or M.Pharm.) in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering or other related disciplines of engineering or life sciences.Minimum work experience: 1 year of relevant industry experience in downstream process development for Biotherapeutics or Biosimilars.Skills & attributes:Technical Skills
  • Expertise in the purification process development of Biotherapeutics/Biosimilars, showcasing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and considerations in this field.
  • Foundational understanding of protein chemistry basics and purification techniques including chromatography and filtration, and a familiarity with basic statistical principles.
  • Proficiency in scale-up/scale-down processes, along with knowledge of additional purification techniques such as precipitation, crystallization, and continuous processing.

  • High level of attention to detail and objectivity in tasks and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excels as a good team player, contributing positively to collaborative efforts within the team.
