Govt. of India funded research project in the Department of Chemistry, Manipal Institute of


Technology, Manipal.

Essential Qualification:

PhD in relevant areas of Basic Science


or Engineering.

Job description:

To develop next-generation optical sensor


materials that detect real-time and ppm-level hydrogen leaks.


The expected outcome will aid in safer hydrogen storage in


distributed networks and in hydrogen transportation. This


interdisciplinary project involves working with different


institutions across India (IISER, IITs and CSIR labs). The PI from


Manipal has all the advanced R&D infrastructure, expertise


and resources to deliver the proposed objectives of this


exciting research topic.
