Cell Culture: Maintaining and differentiating stem cell lines. Develop and optimize protocols for stem cell culture and differentiation
Molecular Biology Techniques: Performing PCR, q-PCR, Western blotting, and Immunocytochemistry.
Data Analysis: Analysing experimental data and presenting findings to the research team. Analyse data, interpret results, and communicate research outcomes through technical reports and/or presentations; contribute actively in team meetings. Stay updated with the latest advancements in stem cell research and technologies
Protocol Development: Assisting in the development and optimization of new experimental protocols.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed laboratory records.
Team work: Working with senior scientists, and team members to translate research findings into desired applications. Day-to-day management of the research laboratory, performing experiments, training, and supervising staffs/interns/trainees.
Required Qualifications:
M.Sc/M.tech/Ph.D. in Biotechnology, cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related discipline.
0-2 years' experience post MSc/MTech is preferred.
Specialized expertise in the derivation, culture, and characterization of primary mammalian cell lines, pluripotent stem cells, ES and iPS cell generation, stem cell medium development research and development of cell culture models.
Experience developing assays to characterize pluripotent stem cells including multicolor flow cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and qPCR.
