•Job Profile•
The Land Resources Division of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi is looking for 2 Nos. Research Associate (RS-GIS) to work on their on-going project activities. The professional should have the mindset to work in various areas of Forestry and Natural Resources Management. He/ she should have working knowledge of satellite data processing including image correction and image analysis. Knowledge of ArcGIS/QGIS or other GIS software is essential. The main job is to prepare different maps of the project area (such as Carbon Stock Mapping, LULC, Land Cover Change Mapping, Forest Canopy Cover, Fractional Vegetation Cover Map, Regression Model analysis etc.). He/she should have sound knowledge in Various programming languages(s).
•Experience•
0 - 1 Years
•Qualification•
MSc. in Geoinformatics- Data Science or related areas with good working knowledge and skills in proprietary/ open-source GIS software. Should have proficiency in Various programming languages(s) & Cloud computing platform(s).
•Skills•
Working Knowledge of ErDAS Imagine- ArcGIS/QGIS or other GIS software is essential.
Pproficiency in Various programming languages like Python- R & Cloud computing platforms.
