Require : Co Ordinator Education : Any Degree Skill Set : Good Communication Skills @ English / Hindi/ Telugu Pay Rate : 15000-30000(PM) Location : Himayathnagar / Near TTD JD: Title: Education Abroad Program Coordinator Class: Academic Professional Exempt Status: Exempt Job Summary: Under the direction of the Education Abroad Program Manager, the Education Abroad Coordinator has primary responsibility for outreach, marketing, and student advising for education abroad programs at PCC. Provides support to faculty for the education abroad program proposal and implementation process and other initiatives related to education abroad; maintains, coordinates, and facilitates the development of advisory, marketing, and policy materials including website, database, policy handbooks, and promotional materials. Coordinates the risk and crisis management process for education abroad programs. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Coordinates with faculty, staff, administration, and external constituencies in the development of new PCC study abroad programs and the on-going evaluation of existing programs. Works collaboratively with faculty, deans, and other academic leading the planning and coordination of faculty led trips. 2. Advises students in Education Abroad programs, including program selection, applications, financial aid, credit transfer, scholarship applications, college policies, health and safety, cross-cultural adjustments and other academic and non-academic issues. Develops and implements pre-departure orientations and student evaluations. 3. Participates in the development and implementation of short- and long-range goals for increasing the profile of education abroad at PCC, and for increasing the awareness of and support for education abroad among student service and academic departments across the district. 4. Identifies, conducts, develops and/or participates in outreach, recruitment, and marketing activities to students as well as academic and student service departments across the district, including developing materials, delivering presentations, and maintaining the education abroad website. 5. Coordinates facilities and equipment use with other PCC departments; orders instructional and/or program supplies. 6. Participates in the identification of new education abroad instructional programs. 7. Provides oversight and coordination of day to day activities of the education abroad program; directs casual and student employees. 8. Supports travel warning processes. 9. Facilitates student enrollment, tracks, and reports on program data. 10. Works with the college Curriculum Development Office to obtain course numbers and approval of new courses. 11. Works with internal departments to ensure that needs of special populations are met, as well as specific accommodations for students. 12. Maintains positive relationships with external agencies and organizations. 13. Responds to or escalates student complaints or concerns. 14. Assists in budget development, monitoring, and tracking. 15. Stays abreast of emerging trends in education abroad. 16. Performs other related duties as assigned.
