• Develop and deliver lessons on various media forms such as television, film, print, advertising, social media, and digital content.

• Introduce students to media theories, communication models, and media literacy.

• Foster students' critical thinking about how media influences society, politics, and culture.

• Teach students to analyze and evaluate media content, including its ethical and social implications.

Assessment & Evaluation:

• Design and administer assessments, such as quizzes, essays, and projects.

• Provide feedback to students on their work, helping them improve analytical and creative skills.

• Track students progress and maintain detailed records of grades and assessments.

Classroom Management:

• Create an engaging, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

• Manage classroom behavior and foster positive student interaction.

Collaborate & Participate in School Activities:

• Work with colleagues to integrate media studies into other subject areas.

• Participate in school-wide meetings, committees, and events.

• Support school initiatives on media literacy, digital citizenship, and responsible use of technology.

Professional Development:

• Stay updated on current media trends, emerging technologies, and pedagogical strategies.

• Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to improve teaching methods.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelors degree in Media Studies, Communication, Education, or a related field (masters degree may be required for higher education roles).

• Experience: Teaching experience or a strong background in media production, journalism, or related industries is often preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital media tools, video editing software, and other relevant technology.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication, creativity, organization, and the ability to engage students effectively.
