Required Interior Designer Faculty
Job Description
The Interior Design program at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Goa seeks qualified candidates on full-time basis for the role of Assistant Professor. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a broad understanding of the discipline of Interior & Spatial Design and Architecture, as well as exceptional teaching, research, and leadership abilities. We encourage candidates with multidisciplinary interests and expertise to apply.
• Knowledge of interior design principles, practices, and trends, including sustainable design and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Significant professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of work. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Ability to inspire and foster creativity and innovation among students.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or hospitality interior design projects.
