Job Title: PGT Economics Teacher(ICSE School)Location: jalgaon,Maharashtra-4252001Job Type: Full-time, ResidentialSalary-40,000-70,000(negotiable)Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Economics to join our esteemed residential ICSE school. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Economics, strong teaching skills, and the ability to mentor students effectively.Key Responsibilities:Academic Responsibilities:

• Teach Economics to students of Classes 11 & 12 (ISC) and Classes 9 & 10 (ICSE) if required.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the ICSE/ISC curriculum.

• Conduct lectures, discussions, and interactive sessions to enhance student learning.

• Prepare students for board examinations by conducting regular assessments, tests, and mock exams.

• Incorporate real-world case studies, economic theories, and current affairs into teaching.

• Utilize modern teaching methodologies, including technology, project-based learning, and research assignments.

• Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.

Mentorship & Residential Responsibilities:

• Act as a mentor and guide for students in the residential setup.

• Provide academic counseling and career guidance for students aspiring for higher studies in economics, commerce, and related fields.

• Supervise and engage with students beyond the classroom, including hostel duties, extracurricular activities, and study sessions.

• Ensure the overall well-being and discipline of students in the residential campus.

Collaboration & School Development:

• Coordinate with other faculty members to create an integrated learning experience.

• Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.

• Assist in organizing academic events, seminars, debates, and inter-school competitions.

RequirementsQualifications & Experience:

• Postgraduate degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Economics from a recognized university.

• B.Ed. (mandatory).

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the higher secondary level in an ICSE/ISC-affiliated school.

• Strong understanding of ISC /CBSE board examination patterns and evaluation criteria.

• Proficiency in technology-driven teaching methods, including smart boards and online learning platforms.
