As part of India\'s leading news reportage team, Republic TV is looking for the brightest editorial minds in the country to work with us as Reporters for its Delhi/Mumbai/Lucknow Bureaus. Candidates applying for repoter positions are mandated to have 5+ years on the field across print/broadcast reporting experience. Successful and solid academic records from well-reputed institutions, a deep network of sources, a solid understanding of socio-political issues, flawless professionalism, being driven only by the news, and having a deep commitment to putting Nation First are all prerequisites to applying for a position at Republic TV. Candidates must be those who have delivered on breaking and investigative news inputs which have set the national agenda. Apart from having impeccable spoken and written English skills as a pre requisite, candidates must have a deep network of sources across genres. Republic Reporters are not handout takers of traditional legacy media houses who simply rely on information that is passed on, but are those who are passionate and aggressive about the 24/7 pursuit of the leads on the ground, have an insatiable appetite to dig the surface for the truth and are fearless to chase the story on behalf of the people to set accountability. Candidates must have a deep ability to think news, chase it, and deliver to the newsroom across time bands. Republic reporters are expected to not just report on daily events, but are mandated to deliver daily exclusive ground inputs ahead of all competitors. Republic TV\'s reportage team of NCR will also be expected to pitch and build special stories of investigative nature on a weekly basis, contribute to the editorial news desk as required, and be ready to report across the country on assignments as deployed by Republic\'s integrated news desk. Republic TV reporters in NCR are not just required to source the news first and break it, but also have the ability to take the story forward with on-ground inputs. As India\'s No.1 news broadcasting brand, all Republic TV reporters are expected to have a deep understanding of Indian history, politics, legal matters and current affairs so as to deliver an informed contextual outlay for our viewers across the world.
