  • The candidate will be part of Optum Reporting and Business Intelligence Team
  • Conducts and manages outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational /strategic business activities \xe2\x80\x93 by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.
  • Create database tables and views, write SQL codes of various raw data that is used to create visualization
  • Creates relation or star diagram, normalize data, clean up raw files and identify data anomaly if there is any
  • Maintains database server and address issues of users of various databases
  • Explain, Present and Analyze the current client performance on various Metrics. investigates trends and issues and provides explanations and interpretations within the lines of business that they support
  • Provide Trends Analysis with supporting policies and procedures, solutions to provide meaningful insights and recommendations on historic and future performance to stakeholders
  • Prepares reports to internal and client supports
  • Helps operations in increasing efficiency and effectiveness by providing data that will help them improve processes and procedures
  • Has the ability to customize operational & strategic reports based on project goals & client requirements.
  • Can deliver timely reports and analytics to effectively measure business performance against strategic priorities
  • Compile results in a concise, meaningful, and actionable format and share findings with end user of reports
  • Collaborate with operations team to identify and document the root-cause that will be needed to generate intelligent reports and formulate steps for Process Improvement & excellence
  • Solid communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create as well as deliver meaningful reports/ dashboards
  • Work with peers and stakeholders to access, pull, clean, analyze and represent data from variety of sources
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree / Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Reporting
  • Experience in Reporting, Data Management and Analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office, Advanced skills in data querying and manipulation via SQL
  • Ability to create and analyze reports using MS Excel and conduct analysis on data
  • Ability to create Data Analytics and create data trends
  • Advanced skills/ expertise in MS Excel and SQL
  • Proven excellent Oral and Written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Able to work under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
