Together you will be part of a global and regional organization helping our customers get most out of their investments via achieving high uptime performance on the Cobot/Robot based manufacturing cells.

Opportunity Overview

• Performing mechanical and electrical component repairs on customer robots.
• Troubleshoot and repair customers' faulty robots, perform factory calibration.
• Providing written technical reports for customer regarding findings from the part examinations. Communicating findings to customer-facing engineers.
• Maintenance and refurbishments of robots used for exhibitions and demos.
• Inspection and receipt of incoming parts, advising repair options.
• Managing inventory stock of spare parts and components.
• Dispatching spare parts and componets to customers in the field.
• Examination and documentation for warranty claims.
• Minimise downtime for our customers through fast and accurate service.
• Ability to work within a team as well as independently.
• On occasions, required to travel to customer site to perform repairs in the field.
• As the team grows, this role will be expected to train newer team members.

To gain success in the job it is important that you are outgoing, service-minded and that you can commit at different organizational levels and in different correlations. You should have strong electro-mechanical repair experience, experience in a robotics or industrial machinery manufacturer is highly regarded. The job demands a high level of technical communication skills, oral and written. You will be expected to travel approximately 20% of the time, predominantly domestic travel. The ideal candidate has:


• Technical high school, vocational school in Engineering, or bachelor's in mechanical/ electrical/ mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• 1-3 years in relevant experience, ideally in robotics or industrial machines.
• Ability to read electrical and controls diagrams.
• Methodical and focus on attention to detail in work attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills; oral and written.
• Good computer skills and experience with PC-based systems and IT.
• Ability to lift 25kg.
