Posting #: 2024-929950 Non-Union Position: Renal Assistant Department: Renal Dialysis Status: Permanent Part-time (must provide availability of up to 0.6 FTE) Hours: Monday - Sunday various rotating shifts - Days & Evenings - 8 and 12 hour shifts (Hours subject to change based on operational needs) Site: Multi Site. May be required to work at other HH Renal Dialysis sites based on operational needs. • Preparation of dialysis machines and related supplies for patient treatments.
• Cleaning and sanitization of the dialysis equipment.
• Obtaining patients\' weight and vital sign information pre and post dialysis.
• Maintaining stock levels of medical and surgical supplies.
• Transport of patients.
• Other related duties as required.

• O.S.S.D Diploma with some post secondary healthcare training required
• Renal Assistant Certificate an asset
• Previous dialysis experience required
• Healthcare experience required
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with computer applications
• Knowledge of sterile/aseptic techniques
• Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Technically oriented
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting required
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record
