  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the CG&S Global Remuneration and Regulatory Accountabilities (GRGRA) team based in India/Hyderabad to ensure delivery of services within the GRGRA service catalogue including but not limited to the Senior Managers and Certification Regime and the Individual Accountability Regimes globally in line with the agreed scope of services.
  • Effectively coordinate the planning, implementation, and tracking of workflow activities which have specified deliverables in a timely and efficient manner complying with service level agreements and within minimum regulatory expectations.
  • Implement and manage service delivery processes and guidelines to help ensure consistent quality and efficiency in service provision.
  • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement to increase productivity and enhance the quality of outcomes. In doing so, oversee the implementation of approved strategies and innovative solutions in the spirit of continuous improvement to enhance service delivery outcomes for CG&S customers.
  • Coordinate between relevant functions including Compliance and HR, CG&S GSC in Bangalore, and the CG&S COO team to help ensure seamless service delivery and timely resolution of any issues that arise from time to time as well as resolving digital service delivery challenges.
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork to help ensure service delivery is undertaken collaboratively and as efficiently as possible in line with HSBCs risk management framework including with collaboration with colleagues across CG&S.
  • Constructively resolve conflicting views and where necessary, escalate to senior Regulatory Accountabilities Advisors, Company Secretary Associate(s), or other relevant senior management in a clear and succinct manner. Accountable for the provision of timely and accurate management information for all services within the CG&S GRGRA service catalogue.
RequirementsWhat you will need to succeed in the role:
  • Strong evidence of leadership and people management.
  • Strong experience in providing operational and logistics coordination.
  • Strong evidence of risk management and risk assessment decision making.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst setting and managing realistic expectations.
  • Excellent time management with ability to multitask and to re-prioritise in very short timescales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as are good tact and diplomacy; including the ability to maintain and develop relationships across the organisation as well as within the team.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, to tight timelines as well as on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail.
