Job Title : Shopify Plus Developer - Remote

About Us : InvenTel is a US-based company specializing in innovative consumer products. We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team remotely from India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact on our e-commerce presence.

: We are looking for an experienced Shopify Plus Developer who is comfortable programming on the Shopify platform to create bespoke developments, customize themes, and integrate third-party apps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Shopify-based e-commerce website, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize e-commerce websites using the Shopify platform.
• Create and modify Shopify themes to meet client requirements and brand guidelines.
• Integrate and configure Shopify apps and third-party tools to extend site functionality.
• Optimize website performance, including improving page load speeds and overall user experience.
• Implement responsive design principles for mobile-friendly interfaces.
• Debug and troubleshoot Shopify-based issues and integrations.
• Collaborate with designers to implement custom themes and layouts.
• Ensure website security and implement best practices for data protection.
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify's platform updates and best practices.
• Participate in virtual meetings using tools like Zoom and Google Drive for collaboration.
• Conduct occasional video check-ins to discuss project progress and team collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Shopify development.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify's Liquid templating language.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify APIs and app ecosystem.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and trends.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Communication and Collaboration Skills:

• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Drive).
• Ability to participate effectively in virtual meetings.
• Comfortable with occasional video check-ins to maintain team engagement.
• Strong time management skills to balance multiple projects efficiently.

Working Hours : This position requires working from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM IST, which aligns with InvenTel's EST business hours of 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work these hours consistently.

Remote Requirements : To succeed in this remote role, candidates should have:

• A reliable high-speed internet connection.
• A secure home office environment.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
