Job Title Reliability EngineerJob Title: Reliability EngineerYour role:Translation of user and business requirements into system models containing system requirements, high level system design, risk management, integration and verification via defined test strategies:

• Working cross-functionally together with Project leaders, System architects & engineers, to define and execute a dependability strategy.
• Taking ownership for activities to identify design risks such as usability and design FMEA, FMECA, FTA, fault tree analysis.
• Setting up and running verification and validation test activities.
• Delivering a solid data foundation for design decisions to optimize system availability at the lowest life cycle cost, e.g. through reliability modelling, simulation & analysis, prediction, time to repair estimations.
• Partnering closely with other specialist centers, lab facilities to execute reliability investigations and tests.
• Participating in corporate excellence programs to shape and deploy systematic methodologies for quality, reliability, and serviceability engineering globally in Philips through peer reviews, training and coaching.

You\'re the right fit if:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of professional experience in reliability and system engineering domain.
• Able to generate, lead, and execute initiatives with regard to technological improvements in close collaboration with other specialists.
• Proven track record of making substantial contributions to the innovation process and communicate new insights to own business.
• Experienced to work according to the V-model in defining requirements, test specifications, supervising execution of the tests and reporting the test results (draws up design requirements and produces specifications for the product).
• Have clear drive for Design for Quality ensuring also the aftercare of projects.
• Greenbelt certification is a pre-requisite.
