Job Title: Release Train EngineerThe RoleThe Release Train Engineer plays a meaningful role in delivering high-quality modern solutions software as part of the Agile Release Train. This role will be accountable for acting as a servant leader to the scrum team, acting to surface and resolve team-level sprint risks and roadblocks while facilitating scrum ceremonies. This role will also act as a change agent, evangelizing the tents of agile and scrum across Global Functions Technology.ResponsibilitiesAct as a Change Agent with a passion for supporting Portfolios to transform their behaviors toward an agile environmentLead and execute release and PI (Product Increment) planning enabling outcomes to execute the product visionFacilitate SAFe processes and events for the ART (Agile Release Train) enabling team and ART maturityFacilitate program level agile ceremonies to include dependency mapping, release planning and scope alignment across Product teamsCoordinate major feature releases and ongoing value delivery to customersEnsure risk and compliance goals are met through enablement of high code quality, robust backlogs and reduction of technical debtEnable the removal of or escalate impediments to the Scrum Teams or ART progressLeverage performance data to drive outcomes and continuous improvement for the ARTEnable empirical product planning for a complex environmentFacilitate communication and partnership inside and outside the ART to include stakeholder engagementCoach to enable an agile mindset with focus on agile value and principles leading with transparency, inspection, and adaptation resulting in delivery of high value increments which meet the Definition of DoneQualificationsMindset consistent with Scrum core values: openness, courage, respect, focus and commitmentDemonstrated understanding of lean agile values and principles including the 3-5-3 structure of scrum10+ years working in an agile environment as a development team member, Scrum Master, RTE or Product Owner5+ years\' experience in the Scrum Master or Agile Coach role of distributed Agile team, tech domain preferredExpert in facilitation, problem solving and influencing outcomesExpert knowledge of best practices in value driven development (requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis driven development, usability testing).Strong knowledge of technical engineering best practices including test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps.Demonstrated knowledge of common practices to manage risk from risk identification through mitigation and monitoringExpert knowledge of agile tool suites including Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MS Teams or similar agile management toolingSAFe RTE, Scrum Master and Agile CertificationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with large-scale enterprise agile transformations with knowledge of multiple agile and scaling frameworksEducation:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent work experienceJob Family Group: TechnologyJob Family: Technology Project ManagementTime Type: Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi\xe2\x80\x9d) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
