### Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for: o Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. o Hands on experience in testing, parameterization, and programming of ABB / Equivalent numerical relays (IED) is essential. ABB Relion series relays exposure is preferred. o Shall be able to independently test and commission equipment such as power & distribution transformer, UPS, Battery, Distribution boards, HV/MV/LV switchgear of ABB such as Unigear - ZS1, ZX1 both AIS & GIS, MNSiS, MNS 3.0, M102, UMC100 o Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. o Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects. o Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.


### Qualifications for the role

• ? Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering /Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• ? Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for commissioning Engineer / 10 years of relevant experience for Lead Engineer.
• ? Power Plant domain Knowledge - Gas turbine power plant, Coal fired plant, Hydro plant
• ? Should have worked in at least 3-5 large size projects for commissioning engineer and 10-12 Large size projects for senior commissioning engineer
• ? International project commissioning experience will be highly preferred.
• ? Experience in ABB IED programming tools (PCM600, CAP505), MS office,
• ? Basic usage of Auto Cad
• ? Knowledge of relevant international standards like IEC/ IEEE
• ? Willingness to work in a flexible schedule required
?
• Working in a fast-paced environment with short submission deadline.
• ? Strong technical leadership skills, interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.
?
• Good oral and written English communication skills
• ? Logic diagram preparation with the help of and factory engineer and approval from customer (based on scheme, P&M diagram, IO list and specifications)
• ? Relay programming, CID files (Customer data sets, as required by PMS/EMCS, Logic nodes, MMS/GOOSE etc)
• ? PCMP programming files for complete package (MV/LV/33kV/110kV etc)
• ? Co-ordination along with INOPC package engineer with EMCS/PMS team to finalize/freeze signal list/CID files/application docs -Relay side etc as needed for IFAT/EMCS programming.
• ? Availability for trouble shooting/pre- testing/FAT/site testing (both Remote or in person to factory/site) as needed
• ? Resource shall have very good experience in IEC61850, MODBUS TCP/IP configuration in ABB MV/LV relays (M102/UMC, RED615, RET/REM/REF/REU/RET etc) and Hitachi relay (REB/RED670 and other 110kV protections) and Hirchmann network switch configurations.
• ? Engineer shall be familiar with ABB 800XA system for interface testing.
• ? Submission of final PCMP files after Punch list testing.
